Domestic Assistant – Part Time – Luxury Retirement Home – AV2073B Location: Doncaster Pay: £12.80 per hour Hours: Part Time About the Home We are recruiting on behalf of a privately owned residential care home in Doncaster, providing a welcoming and supportive environment for 11 residents. This small, friendly home focuses on creating a comfortable and homely atmosphere where residents feel safe, valued and respected. The home takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and pleasant environment, helping to ensure residents enjoy the highest possible standards of comfort and wellbeing. The Role As a Domestic Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the home. You will help create a welcoming environment for residents, visitors and colleagues, ensuring that all areas are kept clean, safe and comfortable. Your responsibilities will include: Cleaning residents' bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home. Cleaning lounges, dining areas, corridors and other shared spaces. Following cleaning schedules and infection prevention and control procedures. Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly. Ensuring cleaning materials are stored appropriately. Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards or concerns to the appropriate person. Treating residents with dignity, respect and consideration while carrying out your duties. Working as part of a team to maintain a pleasant and homely environment. About You Previous domestic or cleaning experience is desirable. A reliable, hardworking and conscientious approach. Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in a care environment. A friendly and respectful manner when interacting with residents and colleagues. Willingness to follow cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines. Benefits & Perks £12.80 per hour.
