About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable and dedicated Housekeeper for a 25-bed residential care home. The home provides a homely, welcoming environment where dignity, comfort, and quality of life for residents are at the heart of everything we do.
As Housekeeper, you will help ensure the home is clean, safe, and welcoming, contributing to a positive atmosphere where residents feel comfortable and cared for.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain residents’ rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms
- Ensure laundry is washed, dried, and returned to residents efficiently
- Keep cleaning supplies organised and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the home
- Support the team to create a safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Assist with setting up dining areas or other household tasks as required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred, ideally in a care home or similar setting
- Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented
- Friendly and approachable with residents and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Awareness of health, safety, and hygiene standards
