With 36 en-suite bedrooms, the home offers a comfortable setting where residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms, creating a true home-from-home atmosphere. The experienced and dedicated care team supports residents with a range of care needs, including dementia, physical disabilities, mental health conditions and old age, delivering tailored care plans that promote dignity, wellbeing and quality of life. Designed entirely on one level, the home enables residents to move around safely and independently. Bright communal lounges, attractive gardens and welcoming visiting areas provide plenty of opportunities for relaxation, social interaction and quality time with family and friends.

The Role

As a Domestic / Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while supporting the kitchen team in providing nutritious meals for residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the home
  • Cleaning residents' bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
  • Supporting infection prevention and hygiene procedures
  • Assisting with food preparation and meal service
  • Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy and organised
  • Following food hygiene, health & safety and COSHH procedures
  • Working closely with colleagues to provide an excellent service for residents

About You

  • Previous experience in a domestic, housekeeping or kitchen role is desirable
  • Reliable, hardworking and organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively as part of a friendly team
  • Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Willingness to undertake training where required
  • Caring, respectful and committed to enhancing residents' quality of life
