About the Service
This family-run residential care setting offers a true home-from-home environment in the beautiful seaside village of Charmouth. The service focuses on personal choice, individual freedom, and high-quality care, which is reflected in the warm, welcoming atmosphere shared by all staff.
The service provides 30 single rooms, most ensuite, all equipped with a nurse call system, telephone, and TV, and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms to feel truly at home.

The Role
We are recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team, supporting residents with day-to-day care needs and promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Whether working days or nights, you will be an integral part of a close-knit team delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
- Supporting residents' physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing
- Assisting with meals, hydration, and light household duties
- Overnight monitoring and comfort checks (for night shifts)
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Promoting dignity, confidentiality, and person-centred care
