The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their daily care needs while providing guidance and support to the wider care team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting care staff on shift
  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Supporting residents with personal care and daily living needs
  • Promoting dignity, independence, and choice
  • Supporting with medication where required
  • Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
  • Ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and well supported
  • Working closely with colleagues to maintain consistently high standards of care

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care desirable
  • Previous experience in a senior care role within a residential care setting
  • Experience providing personal and person-centred care
  • Medication experience
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • A compassionate, caring, and respectful approach
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-focused
  • A genuine passion for supporting older people and enhancing their quality of life
