Job Description Care Home Chef – Full Time – Luxury Retirement Home - AV2028 Hours: Full Time Pay:£15.00 – £16.00 per hour Avon Search is currently recruiting on behalf of a luxury, family-run residential care home located in the picturesque coastal village of Ferring, West Sussex. The home has built an outstanding reputation within the local area and provides a warm, welcoming and high-quality environment for up to 37 residents. The service prides itself on delivering person-centred care while maintaining a comfortable, homely atmosphere where residents' wellbeing, dignity and quality of life are at the heart of everything they do. Food plays an important part in creating a positive experience for residents, with fresh, nutritious and well-presented meals contributing to their health, wellbeing and enjoyment. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Care Home Chef to join the kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious and appetising meals for residents, taking into account individual dietary requirements, preferences and nutritional needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable Chef who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a genuine difference to residents through high-quality, freshly prepared food. Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious, home-cooked meals for up to 37 residents. Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety. Monitor stock levels, rotate food supplies and assist with ordering provisions. Ensure compliance with Food Safety and HACCP procedures. Help create an enjoyable and positive dining experience for residents. Good knowledge of food hygiene regulations and safe food preparation. Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above is desirable.
