Job Description Cook – Luxury Retirement Home – Part Time – AV2041A Pay Rate: £13.56 per hour This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team supporting older adults. The service prides itself on delivering high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining a warm family atmosphere for both residents and staff. This role is based within a care setting, so we are ideally looking for candidates who live locally and can reliably travel to and from work each day. As Cook, you will be responsible for the daily preparation of fresh, balanced meals for residents, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation at all times. Ensure the kitchen is clean, safe, and hygienic at all times Follow all cleaning schedules and kitchen rota duties Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen Report any kitchen faults or equipment issues promptly Adhere to food hygiene regulations and fire safety procedures Previous catering or cooking experience is desirable (training can be provided) A genuine interest in working with older people 13.56 per hour ~ Meal provided on shift ~ On-site parking available ~ DBS check paid for by the company ~ Full training and support provided ~
