We are recruiting experienced Senior Care Assistants to join a brand-new, fully refurbished residential care home in the heart of Swanage.
The home offers a modern, high-quality environment with comfortable en-suite bedrooms, welcoming communal areas and landscaped outdoor spaces.
The service has a warm, family-run ethos and is committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care that promotes residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing.
The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support residents and provide leadership to the care team across either day or night shifts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, mentoring and supporting care staff
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Supporting residents with their daily routines and individual needs
- Administering medication
- Maintaining accurate care plans and documentation
- Promoting residents' dignity, comfort and wellbeing
- Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents
- Supporting the smooth running of the home
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in a senior care role within a residential or care home setting
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, desirable
- Strong xgikmsk leadership and communication skills
- A compassionate, calm and proactive approach
- Medication experience, desirable
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent person-centred care
