Our Client’s residential care home in Brixham, is looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Person to help keep the home safe, comfortable and well maintained for residents.
The Role
- Carry out general repairs and routine maintenance.
- Undertake painting, decorating, basic plumbing and plastering.
- Complete basic electrical maintenance where suitably qualified.
- Clear drains and carry out gardening and external maintenance.
- Test fire alarms and emergency lighting as required.
- Report maintenance issues and help maintain a safe environment.
About You
- Good general DIY and practical problem-solving skills.
- Experience in basic carpentry, painting and decorating.
- Ideally, around two years’ experience in a similar role.
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
