We are recruiting experienced Senior Care Assistants to join a brand-new, fully refurbished residential care home in the heart of Swanage. The home offers a modern, high-quality environment with comfortable en-suite bedrooms, welcoming communal areas and landscaped outdoor spaces. The service has a warm, family-run ethos and is committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care that promotes residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing.

The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support residents and provide leadership to the care team across either day or night shifts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring and supporting care staff
  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Supporting residents with their daily routines and individual needs
  • Administering medication
  • Maintaining accurate care plans and documentation
  • Promoting residents' dignity, comfort and wellbeing
  • Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents
  • Supporting the smooth running of the home

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a senior care role within a residential or care home setting
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, desirable
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A compassionate, calm and proactive approach
  • Medication experience, desirable
  • A genuine passion for delivering excellent person-centred care
