The Role

As a Senior Care Assistant / Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of exceptional care while providing day-to-day leadership to the care team. Working closely with residents, families, nurses and colleagues, you will help ensure the highest standards of care are maintained while creating a safe, welcoming and positive environment for everyone within the home.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the care team throughout day shifts
  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Assisting residents with personal care and daily living activities
  • Supporting medication administration where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate care plans and documentation
  • Promoting residents' independence, dignity and wellbeing
  • Ensuring a safe, caring and welcoming environment
  • Acting as a positive role model and mentor for the wider care team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader or similar role within a nursing, residential or elderly care setting
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health
