We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RGN) to join a well-established Nursing and Residential Care Home in Rugby. The service provides high-quality long-term and respite care, including specialist support for individuals living with dementia, within a comfortable and thoughtfully designed setting.

This welcoming home has a long-standing history of delivering compassionate care within the local community, with roots dating back over a century. Now operating as a purpose-built service, it offers modern facilities including private, en-suite accommodation and attractive outdoor spaces for residents and their families.

With approximately 30 beds, this smaller service offers a warm, person-centred environment, supported by a close-knit team and a strong, family-oriented ethos. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified nurse looking to work in a supportive environment where you can make a genuine difference to residents’ lives while developing your clinical skills.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse (RGN), you will be responsible for delivering high standards of clinical care and supporting the overall wellbeing of residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care
  • Administering medications and treatments in line with best practice
  • Assessing, planning, and reviewing individual care plans
  • Monitoring residents’ health and responding to clinical needs
  • Supporting and guiding care staff on shift
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
  • Promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all residents
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC pin
  • Previous experience in a nursing home or similar care setting (desirable)
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
  • Good understanding of care standards and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with dementia care (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate, patient-focused approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
