Salaried GP (4 sessions) – Heywood Family Practice Maternity cover required (9-12 months) from 1st April 2025 (flexible start date) We are based in the easily accessible village of Pill, located just 15 minutes outside Bristol and 10 minutes from the thriving town of Portishead. There is beautiful countryside very close by with great schools and amenities, and we are near the M5 motorway. We are a long established, forward thinking and innovative Dispensing Practice, currently with four GP partners, three salaried GPs and a retainer GP. We work in our own, modern, purpose-built premises and serve around 6800 patients. We regularly achieve 100% Friends and Family scores and are always rated highly in the area and achieved the best patient satisfaction scores in BNSSG in 2023. We are rated good by CQC. We use EMIS clinical system. We believe strongly in the importance of patient-centred care, especially continuity of care. We have a stable and loyal patient population. We work very closely as a team and meet daily for lunch which is always a good opportunity to discuss patients and other matters within the practice. Our team includes a full time ANP who works closely with the duty doctor, as do trainee doctors. We also have an established wider nursing team and very supportive management and staff. We are part of Gordano Valley PCN and work collaboratively with the other practices within this group. We currently have a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Nurse Associate, Mental Health worker and a First Contact Physiotherapist who are employed across the PCN but work in house with us.
