Overview

Full-time (part-time for a minimum 30 hours per week over 4-5 days will be considered)

£50,000-65,000 (pro rata for part-time) – Dependent on experience

7 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

East Trees is a well-established Teaching and Training practice, providing care to a patient list size of 15,500. We have 4 GP Partners operating from modern, purpose-built premises which are partnership owned. There are 7 salariedGPs and a committed team of 40 clinical and non-clinical staff.

We are looking for a Practice Manager to manage the operational aspects and work with the partners on the strategic, business and finance management. This diverse role is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running, staff management, overseeing HR functions, compliance and ensuring the practice meets its contractual obligations.

We area Deep EndPractice promoting access forall our patients with a focus on proactive care for the mostmarginalised patients.Continuity of care is important to us and our patients, and we actively encourage this.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisation skills, be team focussed, compassionate and will foster excellent team-working. They will share our values and have an inclusive approach, coaching and developing the team, whilst also supporting patient care.

Due to the varied nature of the role, we are looking for someone who has a hands-on approach and is confident in dealing with both operational and strategic issues. We are ideally looking for someone who can demonstrate high level IT skills with the increase in digital initiatives in general practice.

A Deputy Practice Manager, Operations Manager and a Reception Manager support this role.

Our CQC rating is ‘Good’.

We welcome applications from candidates without general practice experience who can demonstrate that they have the transferable skills and experience in the areas mentioned.
