Position: Locum Diabetes Nurse
Hours: Part-Time, 15-20 hours per week
Pay: £16.90 – £19.90 per hour (negotiable, depending on experience)
Term: 3 months initially, starting July/August 2025
We are looking for a Locum Diabetes Nurse to work within a supportive, close-knit nursing team, alongside experienced nurses, healthcare assistants, GPs, paramedic, first contact physio and clinical pharmacists. As part of our proactive and compassionate team, you’ll play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver assessments, treatment, screening, and health education services
- Provide expert nursing support for patients with long-term conditions — especially diabetes care (experience in this area is essential)
- Work calmly and confidently—sometimes independently—in a dynamic and friendly environment
- Assist GPs and other clinical team members in delivering excellent care
- Appointments are at 15-minute intervals and include a mixture of face to face and telephone appointments & admin generated from these contacts.

There are plenty of local parks and green spaces to enjoy, too.
