We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Clinical Lead for CAMHS, dedicated to supporting children’s mental health. As an experienced clinical leader, you will take on a credible and visible role within our CAMHS services across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset (BNSSG)., This is a rare opportunity for a senior registered professional to join the Senior Management Team for CAMHS services. You will bring a wealth of clinical expertise, enthusiasm and credible leadership qualities to a fast-developing service. In this role, you will provide excellent clinical leadership in the running of day-to-day clinical service delivery, while contributing to the development of future innovations. Our CAMHS services are actively embedding the iThrive model of care and are well supported by our commissioners to continue the CAMHS transformation across all services.
You will be responsible and accountable for the safe and high quality clinical care that CAMHS deliver, providing evidential assurance both internally within AWP, and externally – working in collaboration and partnerships with our key stakeholders and partners., You will be responsible for assuring that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) outcome areas have been met in all registered activities in all sites for which you are responsible, assuring that all CAMHS services provide high quality and safe care to service users and families.
This involves implementing systems and processes which investigate each registered activity in each site against each outcome area and compile evidence to prove to the Board of Directors that the outcome has been achieved.
Where outcomes are not met you will be expected to put in place action to improve. You will proactively seek and engage the support of the governance team in the Clinical Executive to gather information as required.
You will build an understanding of and adhere to the CQC guidelines as well as the Trust’s guidelines on the approach to maintaining CQC registration.
The role will lead the development of the clinical pathways across CAMHS using the iThrive framework.
