Role Overview
The role provides a support function to the unit’s Security & Compliance team.
It involves completing, collating, and recording compliance audits for the Southwest region, and acting as a central point of contact for regional colleagues and stakeholders, assisting them directly or escalating their queries as required.
Location
The role is located at a building that can be reached by public transport or car in under 45 minutes from central Bristol or Taunton.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete, collate, and record compliance audits for the Southwest region.
- Act as a central point of contact for regional colleagues and stakeholders, assisting them directly or escalating their queries as required.
- Interrogate and maintain databases, information sources, and systems ensuring compliance with all current legislations and policies.
- Travel across the south west region to undertake audits at various regional estates.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with and researching data from various sources.
- Experience working within parameters set by a range of legislation.
- Ability to become a subject matter expert.
- Awareness of physical security (advantageous).
- Willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) once in post.
- Security Clearance
Appointments are subject to Police Management and National Security vetting – Security Clearance Level (SC).
The post holder must achieve Developed Vetting (DV) once in post.
Applicants may be required to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)).
Nationality Requirement
British nationality is required (some dual nationals may be ineligible).

Flexible working. Full time, part time, secondment, and job share applications will be considered. Specify if seeking an arrangement other than full time.
