We’re looking for an experienced M365 Developer to join our IT Directorate and help deliver secure, reliable and innovative digital solutions that support policing and protect our communities. You’ll act as a technical subject matter expert, working across the full development lifecycle to design, build and support applications that enable officers and staff to do their jobs effectively and safely.
The role:
- Design, develop, test and support applications using Microsoft technologies
- Lead or contribute to technical projects, standards and solution design
- Develop Power Platform solutions that improve efficiency and user experience
- Deliver robust system integrations and support database configuration
- Provide expert technical advice to colleagues and managers
- Diagnose and resolve system issues, ensuring high availability and performance
- Produce clear technical documentation and support continuous improvement
- Keep up to date with emerging technology and best practice in a policing environment

The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work from home whilst also at a secondary work location, which will be a police premises. The successful applicant will have the option to discuss working arrangements with their line manager. All applicants must reside within the UK.
