PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Are you passionate about delivering exceptional HR service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? Do you excel in providing solutions, supporting employee relations, and championing best practices? If so, we want you to be part of our team. As a HR Generalist, you’ll be instrumental in helping our HR team provide a world-class service to our employees and stakeholders. You will serve as the go-to for HR inquiries, ensuring smooth HR operations across our locations. This role will be based in our Logistics Hub in Runnymede, supporting circa 650 employees across 9 locations. This role supports the team for 21 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Employee Relations: Act as the primary contact for HR-related queries, providing guidance and escalating complex issues to the HR Advisor/Manager.
  • HR Guidance: Offer clear, prompt advice on investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances, drafting supporting correspondence as needed.
  • HRIS: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity.
  • Attendance Support: Take responsibility for timely intervention and ongoing management of Long-Term Sickness cases, including arranging and attending home visits where applicable.
