Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for supply chain and planning? Join our team as a Senior Planner and play a key role in optimising stock management, forecasting and replenishment in the Beauty category. As a Senior Planner - Beauty, you’ll collaborate with the category procurement teams to drive stock planning, purchasing and replenishment strategies that maximise sales and profitability whilst minimising stock investment. You’ll support the Supply Chain Manager in executing strategy, managing key projects and leading a team of planners.
Responsibilities:
- Stock Management: Effectively manage stock intake and replenishment for a designated category, department, or selection of brands, ensuring alignment with set KPIs.
- Forecasting & Planning: Collaborate with procurement, suppliers, and logistics to forecast and plan stock requirements, ensuring maximum availability while minimizing stock investment.
- Replenishment & Optimisation: Maintain and optimise replenishment systems to improve stock management, availability, and investment.
- Team Support & Development: Coach, develop, and support Supply Chain Planners and Assistant Planners.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong business relationships with procurement, retail, space planning, suppliers, and logistics, while supporting Global Supply Chain teams when needed.
- Project Management: Manage replenishment and stock requirements for key projects and areas within the category.
- Strategy Execution: Support the Planning and Purchasing Manager in executing the Supply Chain Strategy and deputize when required.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of replenishment activities across the supply chain.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven skills in planning, organising, and prioritising.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong numerical/analytical abilities.
- Experience with merchandising/replenishment systems, ideally JDA or SAP.
- Knowledge of OTB (Open-to-Buy) and WSSI (Weekly Sales, Stock, and Intake) planning.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning, forecasting, stock management, and store replenishment.
- Experience in high-volume retail or consumer goods industries, working with a wide range of SKUs.
- Exposure to diverse markets or geographies is advantageous.
- Experience in managing, coaching and developing a team.
- Strong initiative, drive, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
