Join our team as a Micro Space Planner, this role reports into the Country Commercial Space Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimising product placement and enhancing commercial performance. You'll create impactful planograms, deliver actionable insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planogram Production: Take ownership of creating accurate, visually engaging planograms that align with category strategies and make optimal use of shelf space. Ensure timely delivery to support smooth execution and drive sales.
  • Performance Analysis: Provide Buying teams with actionable insights by analysing SKU, brand, and class performance. Recommend adjustments to improve category profitability and ensure planograms deliver strong economic returns.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Category Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain, to align planograms with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution across operations.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build professional relationships with suppliers to align on product placement, negotiate shelf space opportunities, and ensure collaborative strategies that benefit all parties.
  • Teamwork and Development: Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, supporting team development, promoting high‐quality outputs, and driving innovative solutions in space planning.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven retail industry experience with a track record of success.
  • Background in micro space planning and merchandising.
  • Proficiency in space analysis and space planning software (e.g., Blue Yonder/JDA or similar).
  • IT systems knowledge relevant to the space planning function.
  • Strong analytical skills with a meticulous, data‐driven approach.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail, with a "right-first time" mindset.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Adaptable, deadline‐oriented multitasker who thrives in a team and independently.
