PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Global Loyalty Partnerships Lead is responsible for managing and strengthening existing partnerships while identifying, negotiating, and implementing new strategic collaborations. This role focuses on expanding the partner network, enhancing member benefits, and driving engagement through alliances with airlines, hotels, and other key industry partners. They will work closely with the rest of the loyalty team and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that loyalty program design continues to be consumer-relevant and aligned with key business objectives. This position could be based in London, UK or Madrid, Spain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate and implement strategic partnerships with airlines, hotel groups and other relevant entities to enrich the Club Avolta loyalty program.
- End to End management: Oversee the engagement from business case to negotiation to implementation.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing partners, ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with Avolta's strategic objectives.
- Program Integration: Collaborate internally with key stakeholders including digital, IT and operations to create efficient processes, documentation and seamless integration of partner offerings ensuring an overall positive member experience.
- Commercial Modeling: Develop and manage commercial agreements to ensure sustainable and profitable partnerships.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of partnerships, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize engagement and satisfaction among Club Avolta members.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform partnership strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Drive awareness: Work closely with marketing, digital and operations teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns that leverage partner relationships to drive program growth.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7 years’ experience in commercial partnership development and management, preferably within the travel or hospitality sectors.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Confidence and fluidity in engaging C-level stakeholders, and the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Persuasive, confident networker and deal maker with a track record of success in growing new markets and partnerships.
- Has an established network of partnerships contacts in the travel space.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent project management skills and handling multiple projects in an organized and timely manner.
- Preferred basic technical knowledge: you are tech savvy and won’t be too lost in technological dialogues when discussing general IT topics.
- Strong knowledge of points-based reward systems and commercial modelling, self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for enhancing customer experiences through strategic partnerships.
