Job Overview and key role responsibilities: As the mechanical project manager, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of installations that include public health systems, ventilation systems, LTHW / CHW system and air conditioning systems typically across retail and commercial projects with project values ranging between £500,000 and £1,500,000. You will be responsible for delivering the works on time, within budget, to the highest standard and meet the following criteria:
- Overseeing the workforce of employed, self-employed and sub-contractors.
- Working with the commercial and procurement team to ensure material and sub-contract packages are correctly procured.
- Communicating with various project stakeholders.
- Manage budgets, schedules and resources.
- Problem solving.
- Provide technical expertise to ensure successful delivery of the works.
Ideal candidate: Trade experience as a pipe fitter / plumber with ideally having developed into a PM role after working from the ground upwards. Previous experience in a project manager role.
