We are working with a growing and well-established M&E contractor delivering commercial refurbishment and office fit-out projects across London. Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced M&E Project Manager / M&E Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple projects ranging from £500k to £5m in value.
This role would suit someone with a stronger mechanical background who also possesses a solid understanding of electrical services and can confidently manage the full M&E package from pre-construction through to completion.
The Role
- Managing M&E projects from pre-construction handover through to completion
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
- Attending client, design and progress meetings
- Managing programmes, procurement and project budgets
- Reviewing technical drawings and resolving site issues
- Ensuring health & safety compliance across all projects
- Managing project reporting, variations and commercial awareness alongside the commercial team
- Overseeing commissioning, handover and project close-out
About You
- Proven experience delivering M&E projects within commercial, CAT A/CAT B fit-out or refurbishment environments
- Strong mechanical bias with a good understanding of electrical building services
- Experience managing projects valued up to £5m
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to project delivery
- SMSTS and relevant industry qualifications preferred
