A well-established Design & Build M&E contractor is looking to recruit a mechanically biased plumber / installer who is interested in stepping into a hybrid role combining mechanical installation and site supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on but is also comfortable taking responsibility on site, coordinating labour and supporting project teams when required. The role is intentionally flexible and will vary depending on project needs. At times you may be supervising mechanical works under a Project Manager, while on other projects you may be installing plumbing or supporting site teams with technical expertise. This position offers a long-term career opportunity within a growing contractor delivering mechanical services projects across the South Coast.
The Role
The successful candidate will work across multiple sites supporting the delivery of mechanical installations. Responsibilities will include:
- Supervising mechanical works on site when required
- Supporting Project Managers with day-to-day site coordination
- Hands-on plumbing / mechanical installation when needed
- Maintaining site standards, safety and quality
- Supporting labour teams and subcontractors on site
- Moving between projects providing technical and supervisory support
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, working both practically and in a supervisory capacity depending on project requirements.
Requirements
- Strong background in plumbing or mechanical installation
- Ability to supervise site works and coordinate labour
- Good understanding of mechanical services on commercial projects
- Positive, practical and flexible approach to work
- Comfortable working across multiple sites on the South Coast

- SSSTS (or willingness to obtain – training can be provided)
