An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Estimator to join a thriving M&E Building Services company operating across southern England. Duties will include:

  • Providing estimated costs for proposed projects and conducting surveys/cost evaluations on completed works.
  • Preparing accurate estimates for commercial plumbing and heating projects for internal and external clients.
  • Creating detailed forward plans of work commitments and assessing labour needs.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Overseeing financial aspects of contracts, from inception to final account production.
  • Ensuring materials, equipment, and plant align with specifications and tender procedures.
  • Participating in meetings, training workshops, and other professional development opportunities, occasionally outside regular hours.
  • Consulting with specialists to obtain quotes, technical insights, and advice as necessary.
