Contracts Manager – Glazing & Facades

Brighton Head Office | Initial Project in Portsmouth | Travel Required Permanent Up to £60,000 + Package

A well-established specialist contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of glazing, window replacement and façade projects across the South of England.

Based from the company's Brighton head office, your first project will be in Portsmouth, before moving on to further schemes across the region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work and play a key role in delivering high-quality façade and glazing programmes from start to finish.

The Role

Reporting to senior management, you'll take full responsibility for the operational delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme and within budget.

This is a hands-on management role requiring someone who is confident managing programmes, finances, reporting and client relationships whilst coordinating both direct labour and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple glazing, façade and window installation projects from pre-start through to completion.
  • Oversee project programmes, ensuring works are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage project finances including cost control, forecasting and commercial awareness.
  • Produce accurate progress reports and programme updates for senior management and clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with main contractors, clients, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor quality, health & safety and contractual compliance across all projects.
  • Identify programme risks, delays and variations, implementing solutions where required.
  • Carry out regular site visits and maintain a strong operational presence.
  • Ensure projects are handed over successfully with all documentation completed.

About You

We're looking for someone who has experience delivering glazing, façade or fenestration projects and is comfortable managing several projects simultaneously.

You'll ideally have

  • Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
  • Strong background within glazing, façades, curtain walling, windows or building envelope projects.
  • Experience working with both main contractors and subcontractors.
  • Excellent programme management and planning skills.
  • Strong financial management, cost control and reporting experience.
  • Confident client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach with excellent organisational abilities.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
