A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Operations Manager / Head of Projects to join a growing and highly respected mechanical engineering business based in Bristol. This is a key leadership role for someone who wants real autonomy, the opportunity to shape and grow a projects division, and be part of a company that is genuinely building momentum within the building services and mechanical engineering sector.
The company delivers mechanical pipework, offsite manufacturing and prefabricated solutions across a range of commercial, industrial and building services projects throughout the UK. Their capabilities include mechanical pipework installations, specialist welding, modular assembly and offsite fabrication, supporting projects across London, the South West and the Midlands.
With continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking for a commercially aware and operationally strong leader to head up the projects division.
The Role: You will take ownership of the delivery function across multiple mechanical projects, overseeing everything from pre-construction through to completion. This role will suit someone who is equally comfortable managing clients, leading teams, driving programme delivery and improving operational performance.
