An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a major HS2 infrastructure project.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of complex mechanical systems associated with critical rail infrastructure works, working closely with site teams, subcontractors and the client.

Responsibilities
  • Review and coordinate mechanical designs
  • Manage technical queries and site issues
  • Monitor installation quality and progress
  • Support testing, commissioning and handover activities
  • Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
Requirements
  • Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience delivering building services or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced project environment
