The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Ductwork Project Manager to join an established and growing specialist ductwork contractor.
This is a multi-site position, so we're looking for someone comfortable managing several live projects and travelling between sites within their respective region.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery of ductwork and ventilation packages from pre-construction/handover through installation, commissioning and completion.
You'll act as the key point of contact between site teams, clients and senior management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple ductwork and ventilation projects across the region
- Oversee projects from initial handover through to completion
- Coordinate site labour, supervisors and subcontractors
- Monitor installation progress against programme
- Attend client and project progress meetings
- Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Produce and maintain progress reports and marked-up drawings
- Coordinate materials, deliveries and site requirements
- Ensure RAMS and relevant H&S procedures are implemented
- Manage quality control, inspections, snagging and project close-out
- Monitor programme, labour and productivity across each project
- Liaise closely with commercial, design and manufacturing teams
- Build strong working relationships with clients and main contractors
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard About You We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have come through the ductwork / ventilation industry rather than general building services alone.

- Strong experience delivering ductwork / ventilation installations
- Good technical knowledge of GSS and general ductwork systems
- Experience with fire-rated ductwork would be advantageous
- Understanding of airside systems including AHUs, fans and dampers
- Experience managing labour and multiple site teams
- Strong knowledge of health & safety, RAMS and QA procedures
- Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of project costs
- SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification preferred
- Full UK driving licence The Opportunity This is a strong opportunity to join an established specialist contractor delivering substantial ductwork and airside packages across commercial, fit-out, healthcare, residential, leisure and major construction projects.
Rather than being tied permanently to one project, you'll have responsibility for a portfolio of projects within your region, giving you autonomy over delivery while working closely with the wider contracts and commercial teams.
