Junior / Intermediate Technical Services Engineer – MEP London | £40,000–£45,000 DOE | Commercial Fit-Out We are working with an established fit-out contractor looking to add a Junior / Intermediate Technical Services Engineer to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a grounding in M&E / Building Services who wants to broaden their experience, take on more responsibility and develop their career within commercial fit-out. We're not looking for someone who already knows everything. The business is keen to meet people with the right attitude, plenty of get-up-and-go and a genuine interest in developing and progressing. You might already be working on commercial projects, come from an M&E contracting background, or be working within another sector such as residential and looking to make the move into commercial fit-out. The opportunity You'll work alongside experienced Technical Services and Project teams, gaining exposure across the M&E delivery of projects including: * Design and M&E coordination * Mechanical and electrical installations * Working with subcontractors and suppliers * Programme and project delivery * Site meetings and coordination * Quality and health & safety * Testing, commissioning and handover * Client and commercial exposure As your experience develops, you'll be given more responsibility and ownership, with the opportunity to progress into Technical Services Management. The company's established TSM role ultimately takes responsibility for MEP packages throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction and design through procurement, installation, commissioning and handover. About you We're keen to hear from people who have some experience within M&E, Building Services or construction and want the opportunity to develop further. An HNC, HND or Degree in a relevant engineering/building services discipline would be advantageous. More than anything, we're looking for someone who: * Has a good understanding of M&E / Building Services * Is proactive and isn't afraid to get involved * Wants responsibility and the opportunity to learn * Takes pride in what they do * Communicates well and enjoys working as part of a project team * Is interested in gaining commercial fit-out experience * Wants to progress their career rather than simply find their next job Previous commercial fit-out experience isn't essential. If you're an Engineer, M&E Coordinator, Building Services Engineer or currently working in another area of construction and looking for an opportunity to step up and broaden your experience, we'd be interested in speaking with you
