We are working with a growing building services and maintenance contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Gas & Plant Maintenance Engineer to join their mobile maintenance team. This is a varied role covering planned preventative maintenance, reactive call outs and minor remedial works across a range of commercial sites. You'll be working on commercial heating plant, gas systems and associated mechanical equipment, with the support of an established contracts team. The role would suit someone who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working across multiple sites in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas and plant equipment
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
  • Service boilers, heating systems and associated plant
  • Complete job sheets and maintenance records accurately
  • Maintain high health & safety standards at all times
  • Provide a professional service to clients on site
  • Take part in an out of hours call out rota when required

Requirements

  • Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Gas / Mechanical Services
  • Current commercial gas qualifications such as COCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1 / TPCP1A, COMCAT etc.
  • Strong fault finding and maintenance experience on commercial heating systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication skills and able to work independently
