About the Company

We are a growing specialist contractor delivering aluminium, PVC and timber window, door and curtain walling projects across London and the South East. Working with main contractors, developers, local authorities, housing associations and NHS trusts, we deliver both new-build and replacement programmes through framework agreements and standalone projects, with values ranging from £20,000 to £600,000. Following the award of several significant long-term contracts, we are looking to strengthen our team with a Technical Surveyor & Procurement Coordinator to support the continued growth of the business.

The Role

This is a key position within the business, acting as the link between project award and site delivery. You will take ownership of the process from final site survey through to procurement, ensuring accurate measurements, manufacturing information and purchase orders are in place so projects are delivered efficiently and on programme. Working closely with the Operations Manager, estimating team, suppliers and clients, you will play a central role in setting projects up for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out final manufacturing surveys and take accurate site measurements.
  • Produce manufacturing schedules and submit information to suppliers.
  • Coordinate production drawings, lead times and technical queries with suppliers.
  • Manage the client drawing approval process, including issuing, tracking and obtaining sign-off.
  • Raise and place purchase orders following client approval.
  • Coordinate deliveries and liaise with suppliers to resolve shortages or discrepancies.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects progress smoothly from survey to installation.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor multiple live projects simultaneously.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a surveying, technical, procurement or buying role within glazing, fenestration or construction.
  • Knowledge of aluminium, PVC or timber window and door systems.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and dimensions.
  • Accurate and methodical approach to surveying and data management.
  • Procurement or buying experience within a construction or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience using supplier quoting, scheduling or production systems would be advantageous.
  • Experience with project management software such as Monday.com would be beneficial.

What's on Offer

  • £42,000–£46,000 salary depending on experience.
  • Mileage allowance for business travel.
  • Long-term career progression opportunities.
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment.
