We’re working with a growing construction contractor delivering commercial glazing, window, door and façade packages across the South East. With a strong pipeline of work and turnover approaching £5m, the business is continuing to scale and is now looking to bring in an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of project delivery and help drive structure, systems and performance across the company. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to genuinely shape how operations are run within a growing business.
The Role
This is a hands-on position overseeing multiple live projects from order through to completion. You’ll be responsible for managing programmes, coordinating teams, and acting as the main point of contact for clients. You will take ownership of overall delivery, ensuring projects run on time, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously (typically £20k–£600k)
- Creating and maintaining programmes across all live jobs
- Overseeing site activity and installation teams
- Coordinating labour and sequencing across projects
- Acting as the main point of contact for main contractors and clients
- Ensuring smooth coordination between survey, design, procurement and delivery
- Driving performance, accountability and productivity across teams
- Implementing and improving systems, processes and workflows
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as an Operations Manager, Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager
- Background in glazing, façades, windows & doors is ideal, but we will also consider related sectors such as cladding, drylining or main contracting
- Proven experience managing multiple projects at once
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Confident communicator, particularly with main contractors
- Commercially aware with a good understanding of programme and cost impact
- Able to manage teams and drive performance on site
