An established M&E Building Services contractor is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of mechanical installation projects across commercial, industrial & domestic environments. The role will involve working alongside project managers and site teams to ensure mechanical works are delivered to specification, on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of mechanical building services projects
- Reviewing mechanical drawings and technical specifications
- Coordinating mechanical installation works on site
- Assisting with procurement of materials and subcontractors
- Attending site meetings and liaising with clients, contractors and consultants
- Ensuring quality, compliance and health & safety standards are maintained
Requirements
- Experience within mechanical building services (HVAC, plumbing, pipework etc.)
- Experience supporting or delivering mechanical projects
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Relevant mechanical qualification or apprenticeship preferred
