An established M&E Building Services contractor is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of mechanical installation projects across commercial, industrial & domestic environments. The role will involve working alongside project managers and site teams to ensure mechanical works are delivered to specification, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of mechanical building services projects
  • Reviewing mechanical drawings and technical specifications
  • Coordinating mechanical installation works on site
  • Assisting with procurement of materials and subcontractors
  • Attending site meetings and liaising with clients, contractors and consultants
  • Ensuring quality, compliance and health & safety standards are maintained

Requirements

  • Experience within mechanical building services (HVAC, plumbing, pipework etc.)
  • Experience supporting or delivering mechanical projects
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Relevant mechanical qualification or apprenticeship preferred
