This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the full tender lifecycle and producing high-quality, commercially sound bids that reflect our technical capability and delivery expertise.
The Role
You will take ownership of tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, coordinating input from design, estimating, commercial, and delivery teams to produce compelling and compliant bids. You will be responsible for managing deadlines, ensuring bid quality, and presenting the business in the strongest possible way to clients and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating the end-to-end tender and bid process
- Reviewing tender documents, specifications, and employer’s requirements
- Working closely with the design team to develop compliant and value-engineered solutions
- Coordinating technical, commercial, and pricing inputs
- Preparing clear, professional written submissions and supporting documentation
- Managing tender portals and ensuring full compliance with submission requirements
- Attending internal bid reviews and supporting post-tender clarifications
About You
- Proven experience in a Bid Manager, Pre-Construction, or Tendering role within building services, electrical, or M&E contracting
- Strong understanding of design-led tenders and contractor submissions
- Comfortable working with design teams, estimators, and senior management
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
- Confident producing written content and client-facing documentation
