Avolon are partnered with a leading M&E contractor delivering complex mechanical and electrical installations across major infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Due to continued growth on a flagship HS2 project, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the team.

Working on one of the UK's largest infrastructure schemes, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of electrical packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities
  • Manage electrical installations on a major HS2 infrastructure project
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
  • Attend client and progress meetings
  • Manage quality, commissioning and handover activities
  • Work closely with construction, engineering and commercial teams
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager
  • Background delivering M&E projects within rail, infrastructure or major construction environments
  • Strong understanding of electrical building services
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • SMSTS preferred
Desirable
  • Rail or infrastructure project experience
  • NEC contract knowledge
  • Previous experience on major projects such as HS2, Crossrail, Network Rail or similar
