The Role
As an Architect in our studio, you will:
- Lead projects from concept through to completion
- Oversee design development, technical delivery, and contract administration
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, consultants, and clients to ensure design intent is realised
- Use your creativity, technical knowledge, and communication skills to deliver thoughtful, well-crafted homes
Key Responsibilities
- Develop concept and planning designs through to detailed construction packages
- Prepare and manage planning, building control, and tender documentation
- Lead coordination across disciplines and contribute to project strategy
- Attend site meetings and manage contract administration on live projects
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to maintaining a strong studio culture
- Ensure compliance with relevant planning policy and building regulations
Requirements
- ARB-registered Architect (RIBA Chartered desirable)
- 5+ years’ post-qualification experience, preferably in residential architecture
- Excellent REVIT skills and experience working in a BIM environment
- Strong design sensibility paired with robust technical knowledge
- Proven experience running projects independently and collaboratively
- Thorough understanding of UK planning system and building regulations
- Confident communicator with a proactive, professional approach
