Overview: Site Manager - Residential Housing – Weymouth, Dorset. Salary up to £75,000 + excellent package (DOE). We are working in partnership with a highly regarded national housing developer who is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for a residential housing development in Weymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established housebuilder with a strong reputation for build quality, robust processes, and long-term career progression.
Responsibilities:
- Full day-to-day management of the site
- Ensuring all health, safety, and environmental standards are met
- Managing subcontractors, labour, and material deliveries
- Driving programme performance and meeting build targets
- Ensuring homes are delivered to the required quality standards
- Liaising with NHBC inspectors and internal stakeholders
- Monitoring costs and controlling site expenditure
- Maintaining accurate site records and reports
- Leading, motivating, and developing site teams
About You:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential housing
- Strong knowledge of traditional housing construction (timber frame experience advantageous)
- Excellent understanding of NHBC standards and H&S legislation
- Confident leader with strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage programmes, quality, and cost effectively
