Site Manager – High-End Bespoke Residential Developer Location: Near Taunton, Somerset (with further projects across Somerset) Salary: Competitive, DOE Our client is a bespoke residential developer renowned for delivering high-quality, traditionally built homes with exceptional attention to detail. They are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on their upcoming development just outside Taunton – a site of 7 bespoke dwellings – with further small-scale projects across Somerset to follow. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, or for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to step up into a more senior role with genuine responsibility. The Role: * Oversee the day-to-day running of a traditional build housing site. * Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour to ensure smooth project delivery. * Take ownership of health & safety compliance and quality control. * Ensure projects are delivered on programme, within budget, and to a high standard of finish. * Build strong working relationships with all stakeholders. Candidate Profile: * Previous experience in residential construction, ideally on smaller bespoke or high-end schemes. * Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to run a site independently. * Either an established Site Manager or an Assistant Site Manager ready to take the next step. * SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications are desirable. * A passion for building quality homes, not just volume units.
