We are working with a leading national housing developer seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a residential scheme based in Faringdon. This is a temporary contract position running until July 2026, offering a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-quality housing development.
The Role: Supporting the Site Manager, you will be responsible for helping oversee site operations, managing trades, and ensuring the project progresses safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the coordination of subcontractors and trades
- Managing health & safety procedures and site compliance
- Conducting quality checks and inspections
- Monitoring build schedules and supporting programme delivery
- Ensuring high standards of finish across plots
- Reporting to senior site management
Requirements:
- Proven experience in residential new-build projects
- Valid CSCS card
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- First Aid at Work
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
