We are currently recruiting for a Senior Site Manager on behalf of a highly regarded national house builder, to oversee a long-term, high-profile residential development on the outskirts of Exeter. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a major 4–5 year project, working with a well-established business known for quality, stability, and strong project delivery.
The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full site management from initial groundworks through to completion
- Managing and motivating site teams and subcontractors
- Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
- Driving build programme and maintaining quality standards
- Coordinating with commercial, technical, and customer care teams
- Representing the business professionally on a flagship scheme
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager (or experienced Site Manager ready to step up) within residential house building
- Strong background delivering volume or large-scale housing projects
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified
- Able to commit to a long-term project and see it through from start to finish
