Position Overview: Our client is currently seeking a Groundwork Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the management and oversight of their construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, managing budgets, and ensuring that all financial aspects of our client's projects are effectively controlled. This role requires a strong understanding of groundwork and construction practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and reporting regularly on budget status.
  • Procurement: Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Contract Management: Review and administer contracts, ensuring that they are in compliance with project requirements and company policies.

  • Variation Management: Assess and manage variations to the project scope, including preparing and negotiating change orders.

Qualifications:
