We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager on behalf of a high-end residential developer delivering an exclusive 20–30 unit timber frame development in Bicester, built to Passivhaus standards. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded house builder with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects across Oxfordshire. Passivhaus experience is not required — full support will be provided — but previous residential site experience is essential.
The Role:
- Assisting the Site Manager in delivering a high-spec residential scheme
- Coordinating subcontractors and daily site activities
- Monitoring build quality and ensuring standards are met
- Supporting health & safety compliance on site
- Helping to drive programme and productivity
Requirements:
- Proven experience in residential new build projects
- Timber frame exposure advantageous but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Valid SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid
- Ambitious and career-driven
