About The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Property Paralegal to join a thriving Registered Providers department. Based in Exeter with hybrid working options, you’ll support lawyers across a diverse caseload while running your own matters under supervision. The role involves handling property transactions ranging from acquisitions and disposals to shared ownership and lease extensions, offering excellent exposure to the full spectrum of social housing property law. You’ll initially spend time in the Exeter office to integrate with the team and gain a strong understanding of processes and systems, before moving into a hybrid arrangement (minimum two office days per week).
Property Paralegal Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Providers team on a wide range of property transactions.
- Handle individual acquisitions and disposals, plot sales, and shared ownership transactions (including staircasing, assignments, and lease extensions).
- Prepare and manage Land Registry applications and respond to requisitions.
- Run your own caseload of general property transactions with appropriate supervision.
- Liaise with clients, housing associations, and other stakeholders to progress matters efficiently.
- Attend Court or external meetings where required.
- Ensure excellent client care and communication throughout each transaction.
- Contribute positively to the collaborative culture of the team.

- Experience in property law, with knowledge of conveyancing processes.
