About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate events professional to join their Brand Engagement and Customer Experience team. Working alongside another Events Executive and the Client Delivery Manager, you\'ll be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality events and corporate hospitality that directly support the firm\'s commercial objectives. This role offers genuine variety, from intimate client events to large-scale industry conferences across Somerset and Devon.

Events Executive Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end event planning and execution from initial concept through to post-event feedback
  • Develop innovative event concepts in collaboration with legal teams and key stakeholders
  • Manage comprehensive event logistics including budgets, venues, suppliers, and day-of coordination
  • Coordinate presentation materials working closely with the creative team
  • Provide hands-on support for events across Somerset and Devon
  • Identify and manage the firm\'s strategic presence at relevant industry events
  • Utilise marketing and client data to ensure targeted attendance and maximum engagement
  • Support development of new event concepts and hospitality initiatives
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to maintain competitive edge

Events Executive Requirements

  • Minimum two years\' experience in event management, preferably within professional services
  • Strong understanding of the South West events landscape and venue options
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and project management capabilities
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Strategic thinking abilities with commercial awareness
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Marketing and business development understanding
  • Degree or marketing/event qualification preferred
