Our team in Preston are currently recruiting a Part-Time Trade Counter Assistant (19 hours p/w) to join our busy warehouse team!

Working Hours: Monday / Tuesday 10am – 6pm & Saturday 8am – 12 noon

We are looking for someone who is self motivated and is passionate about customer focus and providing a quality service at all times. It is important that our ideal candidate has a positive “can do” attitude, with a high level of concentrations and attention to detail due to the varied range of products that you will be working with.

What will you be doing in the role:

  • Liaising with our customers face to face presenting a high quality image for the organisation at all times.
  • Inputting customer orders onto our order processing system.
  • Picking goods from our warehouse when necessary
  • Work in collaboration with other internal departments and supervisor to gain additional information and support as required.
  • To fulfil other ad hoc duties including stocking displays, cleaning facilities (Displays, IT equipment) and returning stock to warehouse.

What key skills do you need in this role?

  • Keyboard experience essential.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing environment, face to face or on the telephone essential.
  • Motivated by customer service.
  • Preference for work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain flexible to changes in workflow throughout the day.
  • Good numeric skills with an eye for detail.
