Our element14 community team in LS12 are currently recruiting a Marketing Support Specialist to work within our element14 community programs team. A thriving global network of electronic design engineers, makers, and technology gurus. Our community website enables members to connect, cooperate, share knowledge, and explore the latest innovations in electronics and emerging technologies.

This flexible, hybrid-working role offers a great balance between working from home and the office!

Working collaboratively with our marketing team, you will work on a series of marketing programs and projects within our Global Electronics and Engineering Community. You will help teams report on the effectiveness of their program using reporting skills and with your knowledge in electronics, you will help to create interesting and SEO rich content while working with internal and external stakeholders.

Key activities that you will be involved in include managing contracts for Video Content Creators, budgets for community collaborators and promotions, product ordering and delivery, compliance checks, and competition prizes shipments. You will also be responsible for supplier community reporting, program tracking and specific content creation and management.

Key Skills we are looking for?

  • Strong admin skills, to support working with marketing campaigns within a team, communicate with internal and external stakeholders and help the team to deliver programs on time.
  • Experience in copy writing
  • Ability to communicate digitally and within a community of engineers
  • Experience working internationally with Microsoft Teams, Emails, Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Solid presentation skills to the public
  • Ability to use project management and workflow systems like Workfront or Gantt Charts
  • Familiarity with HTML (beneficial)
  • Targeting content to encourage participation and feedback from a community or customers
  • Collecting metrics, feedback and data from content platforms and analytics tools, along with spotting trends and measuring engagement e.g. With Adobe Analytics

What will you be doing?

  • Help support program managers and help the deployment of campaigns and programs.
  • Continually work with internal peers and/or suppliers to effectively support and deliver the logistics for key programs.
  • Creates, develops and manages the introduction of new Content.
  • Collaboratively support the processes of reporting on programs.
  • Communicate and promote marketing programs and activities with social media, PR and email marketing teams.
  • Support online competitions.
  • Handle any logistics and deliverables for our marketing programs.
  • Help outside suppliers with the development and delivery of marketing programs and interaction with the community
  • Oversee the tracking of supplier activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
