AVL Powertrain UK Ltd offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while pursuing formal training through a Level 6 Controls Systems apprenticeship. We are seeking an apprentice with a proactive attitude, who is keen to learn and highly motivated to support and thrive in the area of Control Systems.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support powertrain control development, including requirements definition and development
- Support automotive network definition, integration and commissioning
- Support the software verification and validation in various test environments
- Create and maintain project documentation throughout the life cycle of the project
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, sales representatives and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
YOUR PROFILE
Essential
- A-level in Mathematics (grade B or above)
- Another A level at grade C or above in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or Design & Technology
- English (grade C or above)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Eligibility to enroll in a Level 6 apprenticeship program
Preferable
- Relevant Work Experience: Previous internships or work experience in a technology related role
- General automotive knowledge or electric powertrain components
