About Us

AVK is building a modern, scalable Talent function that supports our rapid growth across the UK and Europe. As the business expands, the systems, operations and workflows that sit underneath hiring will be critical to our success. The Talent Coordinator position is a foundational role that ensures we operate with clarity and consistency across every stage of the hiring journey.

You will be the engine of Talent Operations – managing processes, improving efficiency, maintaining data integrity, strengthening candidate experience, and helping us make the most of our technology. You’ll contribute to everything from ATS optimisation (we currently use Workable) and workflow design to reporting, documentation, scheduling, tooling evaluations, and future system implementations. You will centralise and elevate interview coordination and provide seamless support to candidates, hiring managers and Talent Specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a consistent, smooth and scalable talent operations environment.
  • Own and improve Talent processes, workflows, documentation and system hygiene.
  • Centralise and deliver high‑quality interview scheduling and candidate coordination.
  • Provide support for contract creation and delivery for candidates.
  • Optimise the use, set‑up and structure of our ATS and Talent tools.
  • Support ATS implementation projects and new system rollouts.
  • Provide reliable, accurate reporting and insight into Talent performance.
  • Act as a key point of contact for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Enable Talent Specialists to operate effectively through consistent operational support.

We have a more comprehensive job description available but other headline areas for the role include:

  • Talent Operations and Coordination
  • Process Ownership and Continuous Improvement
  • Systems, ATS and Tooling
  • Data, Insights and Reporting
  • Candidate Experience
  • Talent Team Collaboration

Metrics for success

  • Operational Excellence: data accuracy, process adherence and workflow consistency.
  • Time‑to‑Schedule: efficiency and speed of interview coordination.
  • Candidate Experience Scores: satisfaction and communication quality.
  • Hiring Manager Feedback: ease of scheduling, clarity and process reliability.
  • System Adoption: use and engagement with ATS and hiring tools across teams.
  • Reporting Quality: accuracy, timeliness and usefulness of dashboards and insights.
  • Process Improvements: measurable enhancements to speed, clarity or scalability.

You’re organised, tech‑savvy and thrive in operational roles where process, structure and service delivery matter. You bring:

  • Experience in recruitment coordination, people operations or HR systems (in‑house or agency).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep multiple workflows moving at pace.
  • Curiosity about recruitment systems, tooling, data and process optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort with technology – ideally with experience using Workable which we’re currently using.
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to build and improve systems, not just follow them.
  • Bonus if you’ve supported system implementations or worked with multiple HR/talent tools.

What You’ll Build and Learn

  • Deep exposure to total talent operations, systems and process design.
  • Experience helping scale a modern Talent function across multiple countries and business units.
  • Skill development in ATS configuration, analytics, project management and workflow optimisation.
  • A clear progression path into Talent Operations Associate, Talent Specialist or broader People roles.
